i have a 96 ford ranger 2wd,with a 2300, no reverse sympton.... truck shifts into reverse has proper pressure at the clutch just a worn out trans(4r44e). i have a freshly rebuilt a4ld tranny from an older ranger that only has about 150 miles on it. can i swap them, i dont personally care about check engine light as its just a clunker i am building to do minor stuff. i know it the tranny will work cuz its hyd control with a modulater... but what will have to do to make the other things work.(shift linkage, and stuff like that.. and is it even worth it?
