Transmission issues

Ever since weve had my wifes 2007 mounty, the tranny has sucked. Its a 6 speed backed up to a V8. It always shifts too soft and really hampers the performance of the V8. It hunts for gears, sometimes makes a droning sound. Her warrenty is about up so were taking it in. Last time we took it, they said they couldnt find anything. Are there any TSB I should look at or anything I should tell them to look for?

There is a TSB for a shift bump going from 2-1. but the new software doesn't make it shift any quicker. Ours doesnt seem to hunt for gears than i've noticed.
