Transmission shifting problems

2006 4.0 Explorer had a P0720 and P0745 ,changed the OSS (P0720),same problem,where is the P0745 pressure ctrl sol A circuit located ?

The solenoid is located within the solenoid block assembly that is located in the pan next to the valve body, you will have to change the whole block.

Sometimes the P0720 code will set if the transmission does not move when in drive. The computer knows its in drive and you have released the brake and on the throttle, so when it doesn't see the speed sensor work it sets a code for the sensor.

What does it drive like? If the solenoid block didn't fix it there is a good chance something is broken.

The oils was spotless and no metal parts in the pan ?

Just chiming in here: My truck is slipping/kicking into 4th/5th from 3rd. I also have P0745 as a code. Where should I start? Solenoid

Jacob, the p0745 code is odd if its by itself, usually it's a companion code, meaning it usually sets along with another code. So see if more codes are stored.
With the shifting problems you are having makes me suspect the servos and bands, the solenoid block can be a little pricey to just and see what happens. I would pull the pan and check for debris and the condition of the fluid and maybe get a better idea on what might be wrong.
