transmission/shifting question

I drove it on Thursday, no problems what so ever, not even signs of problems. Did my T Case Fluid on thursday after noon, redrove it on Monday morning, so it has sat since Thursday til now. Well it wouldnt shift, it reved really high to 4.5 grand in 1st before it shift, then it shifted hard from 2nd to 3rd, i turned around and brought it right back, parked it.

What can be causing this? There was nothing wrong Thursday. I tired in OD and D.

Did you check the fluid level?

Yes, I checked the level of fluid, it has turned into more of a problem then what it started as. Umm while checking the fluid level, the truck will drop to a very low... around 200 rpm and shut off... so i have to restart it, when you restart it, you hear like a pfft/psst... well air blowing for a second, once you get it restarted you can hear air being sucked/blew... but i cant find where its come from.

Check the vacuum modulator. It might be leaking fluid into the vacuum line.

The vacuum line is connected to the modulator on the passenger's side of the transmission, and it goes up into the vacuum tree on the intake manifold.

nevermind found it the problem... someone cut my hose

your sure someone did it with intent ?! call the police.... next it could be your brake lines . . . . . . .

It's possible that the hose blew off because of a leaking modulator.

the rubber hose that came off the metal line, had a clean cut right through the center of it. i pulled it off and just replaced it, i dont wanna point fingers, cause maybe an animal... lol.. chewed it... lol... plus if i called the cops i wouldnt be able to rtf to the lady who did it, rofl... jk, but all it was is the rubber hose from the metal piping to the tree. thanks guys!
