HI,I have problem with my 96 explorer,it appears to be locked in park,my son came home put car in park then we started doing wiring for pulling trailer,got that all done he got in car started it up and tried to put in gear
could not get shift lever out of park.
We checked under dash and all the linkage appears to be on,the only thing i noticed is that shift lever did not seem to move as far as i thought it should.
I looked for some posts on this type of problem and nothing seem to match
my problem the one that may close was to pull pan and check inside of
pan which i really do not want to do at this time just spent $350.00 on cooling system,any ideas would be appreciated,thanks
