I'm looking at probably going that Friday evening, and staying until Saturday evening. Or just making a day of it on Saturday if you would like to drive out with me. Either way, I'm sure we'll have a great time out there...This will be our first run together (with all of the times you have tried to get me out to Truckhaven!).

hopefully there will be some other 2wd representing...lol Hopefully this...or i guess techincally next year will be a blast. Any of you guys going to try and make the nov. 9-11 run? I've had this itch to go earlier. I'm gonna check out my schedule with work and school.

2WD's did well last year!

I remember seeing a 2WD X at the Truckhaven this past January, and it was doing really well. I was also running 2WD since I forgot to lock in my hubs - Tom Davis noticed this a few weeks later while we were running Goler Wash as I tried to climb a rocky wash...[DUH!]...At least I didn't just leave my rig parked in the middle of the trail and go off 'wheeling for the day like I did at Los Coyotes!

Thanks for the link Rick. I'll probably be there. It's only about 1:15 minute drive for me. I'll probably bring out my dirt bike and do some riding as well. I can get over to one of my favorite riding spots in about 15 minutes on my dirt bike from N. Morena Dr.

that i am currently doing a straight axle conversion on,

OK, here's the deal. With recent world events...I did NOT get out of the Marine Corps, and will be staying here in southern California. As long as other matters don't take me out of the country prior to then, I plan on making the trip. Hope to see you all there.......oh yea, Rick, how many lawn chairs do we need to build the fire? Brian Kennedy, are you bringing that special Rum?

Blaine, if you are comming out to help me drink it, I'll bring a few ice-cold bottles of the stuff!! Heck, I might even bring out some fire wood too, this time dry stuff Char!

I have been out in the garage all night working on my new rear bumper....its coming along nicely and should be done for the Thanksgiving mini-run. Waiting for the rear locker and one of Ron's Fix-It Shop rear diff guards to show-up in the mail. I got a PowerTrax No Slip for $235.00 shipped, from a dude I met who is a parts wholesaler. The lowest price I found prior to that was $389.00 plus shipping.

Diff Whack Daddys pre-run shotgunner

This is The Jeeper that went to last years pre-run for T-haven with the bum Knee riding shotgun with Kevin(aka Diff Whack Daddy) was a passenger seat witness for the incident giving him his name. IF you guys don't Have a problem with a jeep cherokee showing up would love to make theT-haven 2000 run.

Going to be a little hard to make the 2000 run. That was almost 2 YEARS ago I am sure it will be fine if you come out for the 2002 run though. Just be ready for all the wise crack jokes about your jeep when we are having to pull you up all the hills

Hey man, I'll stand up for you and your Cherokee. I've got a CJ7 that'll make my Explorer look stupid in the rocks but I'm taking the Explorer anyways. I've also basically built a Cherokee for a friend that would take us places we didn't even want to go!!!
