Don't tell me nothings going to happen with this... I'd be in.

It will happen, but only when we find a reliable manufacturer. Our current silicone hose supplier is unable to supply this product in a resonable time frame and then only in small quantities as it is a labor intensive item.

how much would it cost to just buy the tube?

I've been following this thread intentively with my eyes. Hopefully it'll come into production soon, because it would be a nice addition to my Explorer. Thanks for the update Warren.

I would also like to get this kit when it comes out ... Ill keep tuned in with this ...

Yeah, if this ever takes off, count me in:thumbsup:

If this happens, I'm in.

intake

hey im definetly in rubber will be way better than metal cooler and smoother, and i know a few other people who would definetly agree with me and would buy one if available

Color me very interested in a Gen 1 X tube or kit. Keep us posted.

I would be interested in one, if this would happen.

Its been over a year.

We have solicited more silicone hose manufacturers than you could ever imagine. Have you ever considered the tooling costs of manufacturing what is essentially a really long 3" radiator hose?

This criteria can be met, but not by any vendors in the United States of America.

The project is still in the works!

That depends on which manufacturer you contact, though I have had quotes as high as 2k.

Keeping this thread alive. Hope this project takes off soon would really like the extra power for the first Gen X. First Gens always get screwed when it comes to aftermarket products. Plus I would like to leave all the ricers and wannabe's in my rear view mirror. :redexp:
