You will need to replace the MFS (multi function switch) It will run $40-50.

It can be bought at most parts stores. There is a thread on how to replace it. I'll see if I can find it & post here.

I doubt if he's a bunny, my guess is a pookah. :p:

Aside from the excellent advice offered above, the most common cause is a burnt out turn lightbulb. The flasher voltage is routed through the lamps. If the front lamp is on and the rear one is off, the bulb's burnt out and vice versa.

Thanks I do apologize, and the name calling I am not into. As to not to offend anyone. I am from NY they don't to kindly to name callling, "But some good auto advise is always appreciated".

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

P.S. When I fix it up I hope you guys are proud of it [1998 Explorer XLT - With alot of minor problems that have to be fixed before they get worse]. You guys keep up the good work, as per some of the advise I have read on the threads I see were we all share something in common.

The name Harvey is an obscure reference to a beloved Jimmy Stewart movie of the same name. The title character was a Irish spirit known as a pookah whose invisible form was a rabbit. Sometimes the references are a little too obscure. No offense intended.

Happy Holidays!

Yes that is me. My wife volunteered me to play the Easter bunny a few years ago at a nursing home she worked at.

If you go to the Every Thing Under The A Sun forum then to Mug Shots and do a search using my user name you will see the unmasked bunny.

So that's what an invisible rabbit looks like:rolleyes:
