is shackles one size fits all or u must use a specific one for xplorer?

if it is..... can I use a shackle made for a bronco or a CJ jeep?

shackles correspond to the size of the leaf spring width.... i think there are fullsize and mini trucks....

If you are want them for your Explorer, get some Warrior Products Shackles #WAR-153.

yup i got them on mine... they kick butt and are really beefy in looks and material wise

You have to be careful with universal shackles. If the bolt holes in the shackle are not the same as the bolt holes in your leaf springs, you will have major wear problems, and probably some handling problems. Same for the spacing between the bars, unless they are the two independent bar shackles. Those are not recommended either since they do not provide as much lateral stiffness as the single piece shackles. Spend the extra $20-25 and get the right ones and save yourself some grief.

hav anyone heard of revolver shackles? beoz thats the one I'm looking at to put on my ex and I look on application its for a bronco or a cj jeep.... do u think that would work on my ex?
