same thing happened to me about a month ago, giving the finger and BLAM!!!!! roll splosh, balls hurt and broke a rib. but it was fun!!!!

Actually it wasn't the finger movment that killed it, I was fully standing trying to get the tube to take flight, which if you look at the first pic closely, I was almost there.

It took a slight lean to the side, and that was all she wrote, I gave it about 5 more trys.

I really don't think this tube was designed to be stood up on like a ski/wake board or the such, but it was a rush, yes the splash and smack into the water was a bit harsh, but then again I'll give just about anything a whirl.

Once I get a new ski rope the salom ski are coming out, along with the knee board :)

Yes Jon the kids are keeping me very busy

Umm, for the record, this even in no way qualifies you for the rollover posse. :P

Man looks like I missed a good boating trip. Just glad I only got thrown off the u-tube once...

You were in the trough and were bound to fall out, get that thing in the middle and you can stand up Jeff.

Have you ever seen these kite tubes? There was 2 manufacturers that had them released late in 2005, before the lakes were even thawed out up North in '06 the products were being pulled off the shelves because people were getting killed. I got a prototype in Havasu in Oct of '05 and we broke every rule (don't go over 25, we went 45, use a 50' rope, we used 125', tied off to the tower, etc, only to later find out what a death trap these things are. You can't control them at all once they go up.

tell us the lakes name:eek:

and yes, that looks like it hurt

ouch

Yes I have seen vids of the Manta Ray which takes flight, I iching to try and find one, as for breaking all the rules, well................ I kinda don't follow the rules either, lol.

Lake Bastrop, would be the name of the lake, it's a little over 900 achers, and man made, it takes a whopping 5 min to pull out of the driveway and have the boat in the water and playing.

Did that spill hurt?

Spanking the water at 30mph is not soft, actually it wasn't all that bad as I had Lori circle around and I attempted the manuver at least five more times, before it got late enough it was time to load up and head out, and over course Johnstone needed to get back on the road and head home, even though it was a shot day it was still a lot of fun.

Dang it, it was the first time I had actually had to be nice while he was on the tube. I usually have lots of fun swinging him around over 35 mph on the tube...remember those chores on the "Honey-do list" you haven't completed yet? Yeah, paybacks can be fun ;)
