Upper control arm and ball joints

Hi, I just changed my front upper control arms and ball joints. My stearing is very sensitive now. Is this a natural thing from putting new ones on? It was very easy. It was only 3 bolts. I bought the whole thing together so it was just as easy as unbolt, remove, put new on, and re tighten. If anyone out there has done this before I would greatly like to hear from them. I mean, it drives straight down the road. But when I turn on the road, my front tires make a squeaky noise. Kinda like I made a fast, sharp turn. But I didn't. Is this natural?

You tightened up your suspension! Rotate them tires!

Sounds like you're scrubbing tires when turning. Driving straight does not guarantee proper alignment. Have it checked.

So which is it? Should I rotate tires or get alignment checked? My explorer is awd if that helps. Thanks for your help.

Oh ya. One more thing. If I let go of the steering wheel. It goes straight down the road. Doesn't pull. If that helps any about alignment issues.

Both. Tire rotation should be routine at 5-6K. Check alignment when major suspension or steering parts are replaced. GL
