I read on other forums that they use blue loctite on all the threads when changing to the manuals!
I have read many threads here with no mention of this. Do I need to use loctite OR blue loctite when I install my new warn manual hubs??? I trust this forum but i'm thinking that maybe I missed it some where.

I know of alot of guys that have put on the warn hubs, and I have never heard them say anything about using loctite. I myself also put on the warn hubs and I didnt use any, and the instructions dont say anything about it.

I've never heard of it either, but it's an interesting idea to try to keep the spindle nuts from loosening.

I believe locktight is used on full size axle hubs, not our Explorer's.
I think you are confusing the dana 35 hubs which are held on by the wheel with the Dana 44 style hubs that have bolts holding the hub assembly together. ON the full size hubs (D44) locktight is used to hold the hub assembly together......

I have never nor would even put locktight on the spindle nuts, there is no need...

I have a major problem with my axle nuts loosening up. Ive tightened them about 235 times with a half inch breaker bar, and they still loosen up about every 2-3 days...Am I doing somthing wrong?
