Using the brackets to lock down a box

Has anyone ever used those? I really don't want my stuff stolen and those look like a good place for some added security. My only problem is that mine aren't a complete chain link, they have a slit on the side to allow stoff to get in and out easier. Id there any way they can still be used?

The rear cargo brackets? Just replace them with angle iron brackets, and you are set.

The other way would be to tighten up the locks or whatever you attach to the cargo hooks, so much that they can't be slipped sideways off the hooks.

Thanks, but I've got another question. How would you mount them to the box? I was thinking about screwing metal latches onto the bottom so that a thief wouldn't be able to just unscrew the locks.

don't u just hate people who steal !

YEA Those DAM *******S
