Well guys, looks like your trip is getting near and looks like a ton of fun, I would love to go and actually will be going to the area Chapell Hill, NC in Orange County says less than 2hrs from the park for a wedding on May 7th-2011, I plan on bringing my offroader and closer to will see if anyone wants to join me, have a good time!!!

Got the truck back together so we're good to go. Plan on getting there early for a Saturday run. I might bring the tent and camp on the trails if we stay for Sunday. Hope to catch up with yall out there. It'll be nice to ride with some trucks instead of a bunch of 4 wheelers.

Meet at Eldorado Outpost (4021 NC Highway 109 N, Troy NC). You set the time and I'll try to be there.
The outpost has fuel, trail passes, maps, etc (and breakfast ). We can plan the trails we'll head to first and then go to the right parking area (there are like 4 parking areas at different trailheads, but they all connect).

I"m not going to be able to make it this weekend. The pinion seal on the rear axle is still leaking, and I noticed over the weekend that one of the axle seals is leaking as well. Looks like I am going to have to pull the axle apart to change some seals. 
In addition to that, my A/C is not blowing very cold - it's time to rebuild this also.
Brandon96 will be in my spot - Site 23.

11 works for me. All I have to do is put the front driveshaft back in, test everything out, and I'll be good to go.

Got my sliders put on yesterday so the Explorer is ready. Just have to gather a few more spare parts and start gathering stuff for the trip and I will be ready.

I'll be at Uwharrie at site 23 Friday mid day with my red 2nd gen with a tent attached to the back with at least 1 guest, possibly 2 with another truck that will not be wheeling.
I will probably go sploring through some of the less mean trails Friday afternoon to get a feel for things, I'm hoping to find a couple guys to follow/wheel with for Saturday/Sunday. I hope to get my CB fixed by the end of the week, if not I'll be a silent stalker..
EDIT - Also, Don't know if anyone's seen the weather forecast for Troy,NC this weekend, but checkit.. As of 6/29
