v8 awd rearend question

Hey guys,

I just bought a used 2000 limited v8 awd to drive to keep the wear down on my f150.

Any way does anyone know if the v8 awd came with a limited slip rearend. I can get the axle code off the door if anyone knows what it means?

I also have a roaring in the front end I think the wheel bearings may be going out or a belt broke in a tire? Any ideas?

You will need to get the axle code, like you said

Might not be it, but AWD Exs sometimes suffer from a whine in the drivetrain. It has been discussed before here, so a search might help.
