It is extremely dusty here in Denver so hours after I wash my ride I have a coat of dust on it. I have seen those "vehicle duster" things is there a risk of scratching using these things on dry paint?

Use the California Car Duster. It's awesome. It won't scratch the paint if used correctly. This duster gets better and better as it gets dirtier.

I agree, I have been using the same California car duster for a couple of years and it still works great. No scratching what so ever.

Same here. Great product, never a scratch.

I don't know what brand I have but it works great for exactally that , dust. Not dirt or water stains or what have you. My X is black so scraches stand out like a sore thumb. My duster has left none what so ever.

I saw one in a customers car that was soaked in scillicon. The car had an amazing shine and you could feel the scillicon on the paint. Just like your Mom's frying pan. ( Okay I know that is Teflon but you get my drift ) Oh , I do not know where he got his duster. Sorry.
