Vibration when accelerating

I just got a new transmission in my '91 EB (tranny #4 by the way!!). Ever since, when I am accelerating, my truck will shake and everthing inside shakes/vibrates, including my hands on the steering wheel! Sometimes I even have trouble seeing out the mirrors. The strange thing is, when I let off the gas, its smooth as silk, I don't understand. Please help!!

There's a good chance the problem is a bad U-Joint on your drive shaft. From your description, I'd say the rear U-Joint. Put the truck in nutral with the parking brake on, then crawl under and see if there is any play in the U-Joints.

You'll need to remove the drive shaft to replace the U-Joint, so I'd suggest replacing both at the same time.
