Worked for me. How far did y'all go? Not very far it seems. The X is obviously gonna win off the line due to torque, but it looked like the Mazda was better on the highway, which is also understandable.

howd you beat that mazda? I seriously doubt that thing is faster than an X stock, then again you have a few mods that might avg things out.. but I KNOW I'd lose my butt to it.

simple, Protoge5's are sloooow even with a manual, I've driven a girls and it's a dog compared to a 5.0 Ex/Mounty, but it does handle pretty damn good

I had some kid with a Protege5 race me in our 5.0 Mounty, heh, I burned him pretty hard and he had a few mods, actually I gotta admit whatever exhaust he had didn't sound that ricey which was nice for a change.

Nice vid, I'm kinda suprised you didn't pull harder on him on the highway, definitley not a car for acceleration, but throw it into a curve/turn and you'll have a grin on your face

Looks like they raced to about 60 or so. That way, if you DO get busted for racing, they can only give you a ticket for racing and not speeding.
