Last weekend me and a couple friends went to Grayling, Michigan to do some offroading through their trails. It was a great time, there's a military base there called Camp Grayling, and a state refuge too. There was some really fun stuff, some tall sandy hills, a lot of mud, and deep puddles to go through.
Our group consisted of my '03 XLT with Yokohama Geolandars 265/70/17's
My friend's Blazer ZR2
and my other friend's Excursion Limited with 33" BFG M/T's and dual exhaust (sweet truck).
I'm too tired to write it all down tonight but here's my photobucket album with pics and some youtube vids of the trip. I'd be happy to answer questions later, but suffice it to say, the Ex did pretty damn good in some heavy off-roading (heavy to me since it was my first time).
OH...and I hit a fricken deer on saturday...there's a pic of the damage in the album with me in front of the bumper. It doesn't look bad but apparently it was bad enough for 1700 dollars worth of damage...good thing insurance covers it.
