yea as soon as i saw you wasnt going to,was like yea your going to need it
first trip i didnt use mine and my tent has that whole screen roof and i woke up freezing and drenched!!!!!:thumbdwn:
im just about ready.im adding 2 more inches to my lift, got the back done now.i also found out that i had the outer nut in my hub come loose and strip all the threads out on my spindle,so i gota replace that.xeek hooked me up with a spindle so just gota swap it.last thing is that damn rea axle seal.its going to be a pain because i gota pull the locker apart to get to itbesides those things im ready
before
after, its only 2" but damn it made a difference
know your getting up there when you gota use a fork lift to jack your truck upthat makes it 11'' of lift now
aww what the hell might as well post a pic of it on the street tires, know im going to get joked,so we might as well start.these are just street tires and the difference is FREAKN HUGE!!!!they are 33x12.50 and weigh 50 lb even per tire(just the tire)my pjs are 109lbs a piece, just tire.i also went down to a 15x7 rim compared to my 15x10.it is crazy fast!!
o no its slanted like a mother.im adding two to the front also.its really just back at the same level it was with 9'' of lift.the springs have sagged bad.it had started rubbing on last trip
4.88&33 are perfect for first gets with a4ld.but yea its a little much with the sc but i LOVE IT!!i cant even get traction ,when i build boost i get loose!!i tried to do some 0-60 & 1/4 runs last night.the first 0-60 i melted the tires off and about spun out,the second time i burned them thro first and little in second and ran a 8sec flat.i easily burned tires for about 30 feet and prob 3sec so prob could run around 5sec 0-60 easily.i then did a roll out hole 1/4 and i was going so fast i got scared and let off,i was pushing over 90 and still had prob a 1/16 mile left or moreim prob not going to attempt another 1/4 but i will get some 0-60 or 0-80 times.its scary fast tho,if i could get good traction im pretty sure i can list my front driverside tire if the ground!
No way lol!!i think ill wait till i get a roll bar to do 1/4!!its way to high to be going that fast!its really fast for a truck!its one of the fastest 1/8 vehicles I've been in,or atleast. for a long time!
Ah memories LOL
my tent is wind resistant LOL
I'LL Prolly sleep in the house...
ill end up with 4.56 on 32's... Though I will move up to hopefully a 34/35 when its lifted fully and geared...
maybe run a 305/75-16.....

Why does every one say that.its not true at all.the wider the axle or offset the worse it rubs in bad places.it may not rub on sway bars or inner fender.but the whole fender lip all the way around will come down and hit the tire where with a skinner tire or less offset it tucks up inside the fenderwell.also you rub way worse while turning at the front and back edge of the fender.90% of the reason i have to have such a big lift is to clear the wide ass tires.if i run like a 10.50-12.50x 36 i could clear with prob 6" of lift.they would tuck up into the fenderwell instead of hitting my fender.
