Just a quick note. Since all these MY20 vehicles have updated SXM chipsets, the phonetics used for voice control for all the stations, sports teams, etc come in over the air from SXM. If you master reset for any reason, it can take up to about 20-25 minutes to get through the carousel for all items to get to SYNC. In that window, if you use voice, you’ll need to use the exact channel name as shown on screen. For example some will have “XL” added on and you’d need to say “XL” along with the channel name.

Double edged sword really, but big picture wise I’d say net positive. It’s allowed for some expanded capabilities, but brings new limitations to work with (or around). Sometimes on the temp channels they won’t broadcast any phonetics, or there could be a mismatch if the phonetics update lags the channel update. The old way was reliant on our end keeping up with the channel updates, shared channel aliases, new teams, etc.
