Walking the Dogs

So i decided hey its nice out i'll take the mutts to the lake and play its only a couple of miles from home. (prelude : earlier in the day i decided to clean up the x and wash it = removed highjack and tools out of the back). Onthe way there i pass tho a couple of two track mud puddles on the dirt road. And crap everyone is fishing at the boat launch. So say screw it and drive to a field i know. Park in the trun and run the dogs for a few hours and go to leave. In the turn around is a "small puddle" about 3 feet long thinking nothing about i drive threw it. BLAM I feel the rear of the truck drop. Get out and my rear drivers side tire is pancaked. With a slash in it like 8 inches long. After a 4 mile walk cause for some reason I dont have cellphone service with the wife complaining the whole way i walk to fast and deer flys eating my live. I get home take my truck out and change the tire. And what do you know. I park the tire i am changing on a fire ant hill and i didnt know it. So now my left leg is covered in bites. etc. I forgot i used an impact on my lugnuts the last time i changed them and 4 break loose easy. The 5 was a mother****** I bent the four way trying to get it off. I break it loose and fall into the ants.. More ant bites later (and telling the wife to stop laughing) i am on the road...

What gets me is murphy's law. Been wheeling and all over the place in my x. Never had a flat or issues. Have one conversion with a buddy and bamm flat tire. (talk about never having a flat cause i aways carry a full-size spare and tools to change it).

I'l post pics in the morning with my pos digital camera since my good one fell in the puddle and no longer works.
