Want a touchscreen but dont want the flipface

Ive got an 00 Explorer Sport, thats needs a new HU. I want to get a full size DD unit that will fit in the stock hole. I dont want a flip face, just the one that fits in the stock location filling the whole, prefer. a touchscreen. Does anyone have any ideas on aftermarket HUs for this and or links or tips on what has to be done, as i just seen that there is some kind of cutting/trimming schoche kit that you might need? thanks

i have a pioneer dd navigation/back-up camera(if you want i dont have but my friend does, works great) its not an in dash dvd player but i have an external i dont know the exact model # but i will get it for you tomorrow..i love it though and it looks awesome..

Nearly every company makes several units (or at least sells them, I'd bet a LOT fewer actually manufacture them ). Pick what functions/features you want, and we'll help you find the best deal. For the money expenditure, I like the Jensen units, especially for DVD playback as the screens look fantastic.

Id like touchscreen, dvd playback is optional but preffered, but other than that, normal HU options, 3 sets of preamps would be nice. And hopefully nothing to break the bank. Any pics of some would be nice also.

oh yeah, and id like to be able to use the stock six disc changer thats in the console.

ditto on the cd changer request I don't think you'll be able to use it as the new HU will come with a completely different harness that is not taylored to the factory cd changer ...basically it will not have the wires too even read it...i'm kinda in your boat right now but changing too factory...previous owner had pioneer that I pulled out and I only say about your cd changer cause mine is in the same place and did not play with the pioneer in there...
