Yes, they will.

But it would be the biggest waste of money you will ever spend.

UMm the radius arms wont fit, that is for sure.

Why is it a waste to lift a 2wd?

2wd lift kits are cheaper than 4wd lift kits.

No they're not. I paid about $700 total for my Skyjacker Class I. It's the same as a 4wd.

Let me rephrase: all the bracketry, coils, shocks, brake lines, and steering will work.

Well if I bothered to read the post then I would have seen that it was a first gen. When it comes to 2nd gens it is considerably cheaper to lift a 2wd with a 2wd lift kit.

Ah, well then there we go.

410, is the reason the 4wd extended RA's don't fit 2wd because of the transfer case crossmember differentiation?

no its the height of the 2wd beams vs the height of the ttb beams :)
I dont believe the 2wd explorer's have any changes to the frame or engine cradle when compared to the 4x4?

in CO a 2wd explorer is VERY rare, so I have not climbed around any, actually only saw one a long long time ago in the yard.

The BII 2wd was funny, it had a dummy T case even :)

So I am no expert but if its like the Ranger the 2wd torsion beams are way diff fromt he 4wd torsion beams (TTB)

As far as I know from my research and comparing mine to others', the 2wd components are identical.

Do all extended RA move the mount back to the tranny/transfer case X member?

Nope. Many of thebolt on TTB kits you see on this forum will move back that far and replace the Trans X member. This is more due to convinience then it is good design. The arms, in truth, dont need to be that long in most cases.

If you look at the Camburg arms they are much much shorter. If you look at your frame you can see the Camburg style arms actually take advantage of the frame shape, putting the lateral loads right into where the straight rail meets the start of the wheel hump. IMO a better design, but they both work well.

I want to see a picture of your 2wd beams :)

BTW, that was before I fixed the swaybar and mounted it correctly.

thats what I thought, no friggin way will 4x4 radius arms fit those beams, they ears are too tall (distance betwenn upper and lower bolt)

Unless everything I knew up to this point was wrong, those look exactly the same as 2wd ranger beams

Yeah as far as I know the X and Ranger beams are the same, except for the pre 88 Rangers I think.

for you = body lift.

So I got a 99 Eddie Bauer 2wd and I want just like a 2" lift to get it a little off the ground. Does anyone know where I can get a lift cause I can't find anything?
