I want to paint the plastic on my bumpers and my running boards. I was thinking of going black.
Could someone photoshop my gray trim pieces black?

I repainted my bumper trim pieces from grey to black.

that looks really nice , i couldnt see the before pics, but if its like mine (gray and faded) it must look 200% better. good work.

did you paint that today? i work in east granby and went to a firing range in glastonbury and the weather didnt seem ideal for painting. nice job regardless.

wow, im tired. i totally blanked out on that post. apparently is wasn't rydin high who started this thread. sorry guys =/

maybe i should spend more time reading the posts...

alright, cardomain is working again. i think your truck would look amazing with all gray painted black. yes, even the running boards.

green black and chrome looks much better than green gray black and chrome. good luck

i know im clogging up your post, but i spent a few minutes in photoshop and painted your gray. the bumpers didnt turn out too well, but the running boards look nice. it will at least give you an idea of how they'll look.

As for the running boards you should see if you could find some black factory ones or get them done by a pro. Im just worried that the amount of abuse they take that the paint will start chipping off. Or you could just take them off all together :D

Thanks for the pics springtensi0n, I think I'll be doing some painting soon. I want to keep the running boards, I have a good friend that is great with paint so I'll have him do it.

I'd get replace the rear bumper cover w/ black. I painted mine and all is holding up fine except the rear bumper just due to normal use, towing, loading the roof box, kids, etc.
