WAS stuck in 4low, now shaking @ 50mph

My 96 v6 ford explorer was stuck in 4 low for about 15 miles and then all of a sudden a big CLUNK happened when i was stopped at a light and it went out of 4 low. Now my truck viberates at about 50 mph+.
Any ideas what it could be?

I have a 1600 kilometer drive ahead. Think it could make it? lol

how fast were you going in 4LO? Sounds like you might have broken a shaft or fractured something and its now thrown off balance.

It actually came out of 4low at a stand still. i was thinking a warped shaft aswell.

prolly not a good idea to drive it 1000 miles frk

could be. When you went from 4L did you put the truck in neutral or on the fly?
