Water Leak through fire wall 2004 Explorer

Anyone ever have a leak through the firewall on the passenger side? My wife's does. There are several penetrations but has there been a common problem with one of them?

Not common. Usually happens when drain ports get clogged and water backs over the fresh air intake area.

Do you mean the drain from the A/C pan? where does this dump to the outside?

The water backup leak could be caused by these inner fender/under cowl drain ports getting clogged up with tree debris. I had this problem. Look at post #29 with the pics in the link below.
