Weird lights issue.

If I turn my parking lights on my all of the lights that are supposed to come on do (dash, front parking lamps, rear lamps, brake lights work, etc). However If I pull the knob all the way out to turn head lamps on my dash lights and rear lamps no longer work (brake lights still work). Anybody had something similar and can point me in a similar direction?

It's a 1993 Eddie Bauer edition explorer.

you should have a dimmer running the dash lights. My guess is it is adjusted all the way down or even switched off. Rotate the light switch knob.

Edit--your light switch is bad.

Bad light switch would also be my first guess. After that, if someone has hacked in a trailer plug in the rear harness, that can cause strange light issues too.
