Welding 02 bung in SS exhaust

Getting ready to install a wideband a/f meter in my truck, and was wondering whether having a SS exhaust complicates the weld process. A friend of mine who welds was wondering whether it is a different wire for SS.

same as is used on reg exhaust pipe, weld away.
