what bulbs look blue???

after the accidnet i'm getting new headlights and new clear corners and i'm wondering what bulbs make the heads and corners look blue while they are off and how many do i need and what sizes if you know. thanks.

Foe my headlights I have APC X Bulbs, they are very bright and give off a nice blue light. They are higher wattage than the stock bulbs, but I am running them with no problems.

Oh yeah the headlight bulb size is 9007. I am not sure what the other sizes are but if you go to http://www.sylvania.com/auto/carapp/ it will tell you what sizes all you lights in your car are

do they look bluethrough the lens when your lights are off? thanks

They dont make the lense look too blue when they are off. You could get a set of blue light covers to put on the lenses when the lights arent on. Other than that they are not that blue in the day time. I will try to post some pics tomrrow if i can get my camera to work.

P.S. Rolling Rock Town Fair 1 was the best in my opinion

I think the ones you want are the Sylvania Silverstar signal bulbs. They look kinda blue/silver when dormant, but light up amber. They're on Sylvania's website.

yep, they're the ones i'm gonna pick up. hopefully someone local will have them, if not i'll have to get them online.

I'm using mtec that i bought of of ebay and they are bright and they give off a blue light and seem brighter that the stock one i'm using 80/100 w on my 93 X

Does sylvania make them for 194 replacement bulbs as well? (the blue tinted bulbs that light amber) -- California laws stink, and I'm a cop magnet as it is, so I'd rather not push my luck with true blue/white bulbs...

Or is there anywhere else you guys would prefer to get some of these?

draft, no they don't make the 194's. thats what i want too to match the silverstar corner lights i just got. i could either leave the orange bulb in there or i can get those zenon super white bulbs that are blue casing but will light up white instead of orange. as long as it'a legal i'm gonna.

I bought them off ebay about 2 years ago... they ARE sylvania brand, but I've never been able to find them since, so when the first one goes I'll probably have to replace the whole set :-(

I have Silverstars in my headlights and I think they match pretty good!

ok, then those aren't the ones i just got. i got the new sylvania silverstar corner ones that look blue when off, but shine amber at night. they are the 3157 size and have 2 for each corner. i just need replacements for those top corner lights, those 194 small bulbs.

All I can say is.. California laws really do blow out the butt. I don't mind having the car limo tinted and getting pulled over for that.. it's just rare, but hell if they see me with blue/white corners, holy hell stop the clock and pull me over. I hate it here.

Any other brand make the blue during day, and amber when powered? These are my best bet without having ugly corners and getting pulled over. =(

do you mean for the 194 bulb? do you think they would pull you over if you just had that little corner blue but the rest with silverstar 3157's that light up amber? it would be all blue during the day, and at night it would be all amber except for the little 194 section. thats what i'm gonna do, but i'm in pa and i think i'll be fine here. it's just the little corner.

i should tell you the best bulb to get for that little 3rd light is 912..it's 10000 times brighter then the 194..i have them in both my dad's(the pic i put up) and mine
