What can I do to make my 05 look aggressive?

I know they don't make a true lift kit for my explorer, but I see many of you have rigged one with coil spacers, etc. Does it feel more rollover prone? Any other suggestions regarding lifting it somehow would be much appreciated (could I fit 33's?).

I recently got my stock explorer stuck on the beach, 150$ bucks later, she was out... so i'm trying to avoid that again.

Suggestions for set-ups would be great. Just lookin for some guidance

BTF spacers are the best way to lift your gen 3, the wider tyres will help balance out the roll over risk, hub centric wheel spacers will further reduce the risk but reduce the life of your wheel bearings. On the beach make sure you lower your tyre pressures and maintain momentum. You can also get the plastic tracks that give your tyres traction after you get bogged.

and yeah I want the offset to be wider

I'm reading you don't want coil spacers and and body lift bec it will decreas ethe life of the bearings and lead to other problems

A body lift wont get you any extra clearance for beach work and the lifts wont hurt the bearings just the wheel spacers for the wider stance.Its a compromise between function and longevity. Check out some of the rigs on here to get an idea of the look you'd like to achieve and as long as you don't overdrive it roll over risk isn't much of a factor. Body lifts are fine for getting bigger rubber but extra clearance on soft beaches is a plus, if you want to, do both!

put 5% tint all the way around and eybrow on the windshield 5%. put 265's on it and your good to go. the ol ladys looks pretty mean esp. for a chicks ride.lol

get a can of truck bed liner. take off the running boards and rino-line the rockers, bumpers, and trim. itll look tough and not set you back too much.

im not saying rino line the whole truck - just the bottom rocker pannels and maybe some trim. wouldnt look trashy - would look alot better than plastic if done right. but its your car - just my opinion. but if you do any kinda offroading having a paint or coating that hides dirt and scratches well will help:

i know... sin to post a toyota picture on here but its what i found on google. they bed lined the lower panels and trim.

I put some some 98-03 f 150 tow hooks up front and I think it completed the front end and they are beefy as hell. Now I dont have some cheezy looking spots where tow hooks should be.
