What do I need? SL and BL.

I dont have an explorer, but i was hoping to get one soon.

I've been doing a lot of research on body lifts and suspension lifts and you need a lot more than just buying a kit and bolting it on like longer brake lines, relocating stuff better brakes and a bunch of other stuff.

My plan was to get like a 2-4" suspension lift and a 1 or 2" body lift to have more room to fit 34s or so, or is that too much/little?

it would be more for looks, but wouldnt hurt to go mudding every once in a while.

what would i need to look for in kits and what else would i need besides the kit to make it all work?

im now learning about torsion bars and shackles to lift.
id like some info on that too

if you want it to look like that and that year suspension wise shouldnt be a problem. i think two inches is the least you can do. but for the body lift.... that may be a problem. well not a problem but you will prob need a performance accesories kit for the ranger and modify it to fit. There are plenty of writeups on it. I would search pa883 thast the kit number. Or 2nd gen body lift. You will find tons of things

I was reading up and asking my dad about on torsion bar and shackle lifts in substitute of a body lift. And I see a lot of people have a suspension lift and torsion bar and shackle lift.

Is there really a difference between BL or TT and shackles? Well besides the main difference, but handling and things like that.
