they look alright..... tons of backspacing though!

the backspacing is not bad, black magic has +35mm and they still fit.
oh but im not a big fan of those rims. black rims are very hard to pull off, and i dont think those do it.

I AM a big fan of the black rims but I agree with SilenZe those rims don't look good in black. I understand with +24 offset you will have some rubbing at full turn but its livable.

i don't like black rims either....to me rims should be shiny and sparkle

i thought +24 offset was ok? how's +29? if you want black rims for an X i would go with the bullits. they are great looking on X's.

+29 offset is worse than +24.

There was a guy here that just bought 20's with +12 offset and said it was perfect. It lined up with the body nicely. Do you ride on stock height, alphabets13?

yep, i'm at stock, actually a little higher with my TT and 31's. i am looking at buying 17x8 or 17x9 bullits, and they either come in +24 and +29 offset. i thought that these offsets would work fine without any rubbing. i don't plan on lowering, i want to get the biggest 17'' tire i can get on those rims without rubbing. not real a street look, just street rims with big tires.

My Saleens are 18x9 with +24 offset

and they fit ok? and your lowered right? no spacers or anything?

I dont have mine on yet, but my friend has the same offset on his and its fine....he might get some rub at full turn but its nothing major. Yah and he's lowered too.

Not too many people do this. I wonder why really 'coz they look nice that way. Big rims, big tires on street driven truck looks great!

yeah but you should back out those t-bar bolts before anyone gets hurt! :p

i always say the same thing, and it's one of the reasons i want that setup also, cuz not alot of people have it. i see X's on the cover of magazines with street wheles and offroad tires and i drool. i love the way it looks. i think 17'' bullits with as big of tires as i can get without rubbing would look sweet.

Black rims with the chrome lip would look slick, but those don't really cut it. My offset on the 20s are +15, and stick out almost PERFECTLY. I couldn't be any happier, right out to the fender. I'm not a fan of rims on buldging-sidewall tires, keeping it mild looks decent IMO. I rub on full turns, but honestly, so does just about everyone else here.

Alphabets13- I have 18x9's with 24mm offset and 255-55-18 tires and stock hiegh. I rub only at full turn.

ok thanks rydin. if i had to get +29, i guess it wouldn't be the end of the world, it's only a minimal difference from +24 and would probably only rub at full turn like +24.
