This is my recently acquired car. a 2000 Ford Contour, it serves as daily driver now, the Explorer has been semi-retired from daily driver status as gas was starting to eat me alive in expense.
I rock a 7 too but its a 1991.5 before they came out with your body style. Been having trouble finding some one to tune it since it has a haltec and not an AEM like most people run. I am currently running a cosmo motor that i purchaced new after i traded in my old motor that blew a corner seal and just went to hell after that. It has a T-70 turbo on it and running about 14 PSI. 1300cc mains and 1600cc secondary with all the supporting mods. Currently It leans out way too much at 4500 rpm when the turbo is fully spooled so its in need of a reflash of the ECU. I also have a 2006 330Ci thats on a lease while i am here in germany and a 2001 Explorer sport thats back home.
'92 Cougar LS 3.8. Future plans are a 347 stroker. I have 18x9 Cobra R's for it now but I have to get it running (head gaskets) and replace the front suspension first. I also have some lowering springs to put in when I do the suspension work.
:thumbdwn:When there isn't snow in the driveway or the roads this gets driven I know its a chevy but it runs great and great on gas. Nikki (fiance) usually drives it to work in State College. Its a 2.4 twin cam 4banger Malibu
Then this is mainly mine gets driven bout everyday but may soon be off the road for the summer if gas goes any higher, may find some beater 4banger for the summer.
