yeah looks like either water temp or oil pressure

i have a coolant temp up front close to the t stat housing but your probably right oil pressure ?

Can you remove it? Does it have a part number on it?
Looks as though it is mounted in the rear of the lower intake?

Knock sensor for sure. Some models have them, some don't.

If your harness doesn't have a plug for it, pull it and forget it.

If you have a plug for it, get a new one.

i think the knock sensor is on the side of the block by the timing cover this at the top near the lower intake it actually goes in the block though anyway sorry it took so long im trying to restab it man what a pain after i get it in i will look at pn on the sensor itself and try to cross or call ford (this is at the back of the motor).thanks for your help

That IS the knock sensor in the pic. That is where they put them on a 5.0. Trust me, I KNOW this for a FACT!

The one near the timing cover will be the oil pressure sender.

ok thanks gremlinstein i will have to replace it this was a motor swap from a lincoln motor and it did not have one unless they put it in a different spot for the lincoln man i tell you that is a pita to switch all that stuff over to the block the wrecking yard told me just the intake, oil pan, exhaust manifold, man they were lying or just wanted a sale it seems like everything had to convert this was a lincoln 302 to f150 302 anyway thanks for your help.
