what offset wheels?

i am looking at getting some wheels for my new explorer xlt. i wanna get some that stick out about and inch or so like some of the pictures i have seeing on here from other guys.... so my question is...how much offset should i get... i see there is some with -30 offset and also +30 offset. which one would i want, the - or the + lol. thanks for help.



show me some pics of more wheels if u have them along with the offset so i can get idea. everyones showed rims on other posts but no offset info.

This is a set I have... I believe they are a -25 offset. This is an older pic w/o fender flares. I'll double check the offset...

I put on a set of 2001 Ranger wheels. The offset is -12.
