As the title say .. Which spray paint can would be used for a nice clean look? Bed liner paint? Or just black flat paint? Brand? Pictures?

Thanks all

Bedliner will give it a rough texture.

Bumper paint will leave it smooth.

So given that, you choose which way you want to go.

I like Dupicolor paints. They have a nice nozzle.

Krylon Fusion satin black is what most have used.

If you want to stick with the gray, you can get gray bumper paint at most auto parts stores. I'd advise using an adhesion promoter under it.

I stumbled onto some Dupli-Color Bumper Coating just last week at the local Habitat for Humanity Restore for $1.50 a can. The can has the front end of an '01-03 Sport on it (I know it's a Sport not a ST because the same vehicle is/was on their automotive spray cans.) On the front of the can it says "excellent adhesion", but in the directions it says their adhesion promoter CCP199 can be used to increase adhesion. I haven't used it yet, and have no plans to anytime soon. What I found happens to be gray, but I'm sure it's available in other colors.

I used Krylon Fusion gloss black. Cleaned every part with a pressure washer and then by hand. Let dry for a day then hit with around 10 very thin coats. Still holding up years later.

Thank you everybody for your inputs. Anybody has a picture example of how theirs came out please?

Most recent wash. About 5 years since 1st coat.

The 1st time I took them off. The 2nd time I just masked the truck. I helped my friend paint his just by masking off the truck and it worked well.
