Wanted what size of pipes ?

i have a 1995 explorer 4.0, i am thinking of running 3 inch pipes right from the catalayic converters to a flowmaster 44 then just making it a down pipe from there. anyone tried that on theirs? any opinions ? too big of pipes ?:exporange

its to big of pipe to run. not trying to sound like a jerk or anything like that, but you would be wasting your money, and may find you would loose power, and not gain anything.

would i beable to run that same set up but with smaller pipe? what would you recomend?

honestly run 2in pipes with a 3in tip it will sound good no problems with power and the 3in tip will sound nice
