Well it's time to get tires I'm just not sure which ones. Here are the ones i'm looking at Yokahama geolanders at2, Pro Comp at's and BFG AT'S. I thought about Mud terrain but not to sure about the road noise and gas mileage. Would like some opinions.

tire choice is very subjective..... some people hate some others love them.....

welcome to the site... do a search for any of those and you will find a wealth of information.....

now for some personal experience, all 3 you listed wear ok on the street... the yokos are quite soft and agressive for a street tire, you need to rotate and balance them mroe than normal, i would say every oil change, otherwise they wear wierd and cup....

the bfg ats are a good all around performer, but leave a little to be desired in the rain

the procomp ats are ok, they last comparable to otehrs, they jsut dont really look aggressive and htey jsut perform ok..... they look more liek a street tread than anything

i run bfg mud terrains and all terrains (my truck is a 4x2 so it doenst matter) and the wear on them is the same..... the muds arent that loud, but definately louder than the all terrains

I put the Yokohama Geolander AT2's(265/70/r16) on in August and love them so far. It snowed 3 inches last week and I didnt even have to put it in 4wd when going to work.
They are surprisingly very quiet also

Thanks for the help and the links i think i'm going to look into the bridgestone tires.

I have pro-comp AT's and am very happy with them so far.
Good Luck with whatever you decide.

i have heard good things about the bridgestone revos. they are a very good on road tire and i think do decent off road. i was contemplating between those and the BFG AT's. i went with the BFG because i read they are a little better offroad and that would suite my driving style more. how much offroading will u be doing? this question might help narrow down your choices.

I got a fresh set of 31x 10 1/2 revo's on my 99 and they have to be one of the best tires I've had on any truck for all around use, the only downside of them is the price at 1050$ cad with tax for the set its kind of hurts the checkbook but well worth the money
