What to paint the under body with?

Thanks Clayton, that's a great find. I have the POR15 available locally, but only the main part and the cleaner. I would still need the prep and a topcoat. I belive that the Eastwood product will be a simpler product to use. Very good review in your link, I have not received an Eastwood catalog in a long time.

I would just use 3M undercoating part # 08881

FWIW I have pulled Por15 off in sheets from a vehicle.

Thread revival
If you pulled Por15 off in sheets then it wasn't installed correctly.. As mentioned by CDW6212R the surface was probably not prep'd correctly to maximize the bond between the surface and the coating. Although coming off in sheets indicates the coating wasn't bonded adequately to the surface, it also indicates the product has a very strong bond to itself.

Po15 like other coatings (Eastwood etc) needs a clean grease free surface that is etched or rusted to maximize the adhesive bond. New metal, or shiny surfaces are too slick and don't allow the coatings to achieve strong bonds.

I used Por15 on my entire suspension and undercarriage with Zero flake up (going on 3yrs).. I have many scratches from wheeling, but the rust area doesn't grow beyond the scratch  The net result is Por15, Eastwood and similar products are great (if you spend the time to prep the surface correctly).. If surface prep isn't your thing, then using a cheaper product (Rustoleum paint etc) would probably be in your best interest.
