You got it!

I don't have one of them new fangled auto shifting transmissions, i prefer to tell my truck when to shift. :)

arnt the 95 trannys different from the 96? thats what my tranny rebuilder said

the transmissions are the same from 95-97 for the 4.0 ohv. the 97 was offered with ah sohc motor which has a different transmission. And what kind of transmission do you have automatic or manual?

automatic

95's have both AL4D's and 4R55E's so the only way to find out is look under. It will be all electric if its a 4r55e and alot of vacumm BS if its AL4d

its not the electric, so i have a AL4D? that means that i can use a first gen transmission in mine?

you have a 4r55e if it looks like this...

All '95s have the 4R55E. Until I see proof. I'm sticking to that.

One at the yard her in Va, 95 w/a A4LD. The production date is 12/94 though

I've never seen or heard of a 95 with an a4ld though i've heard of ford doing weird things in transition years with thier vehicles.

I'd have to agree with that. I remember the thread on here about the '95 having a TTB. So I guess it would be possible. Might just be a few that were made in '94 though. And just had left over parts laying around.
