What transmission???

I'm trying to figure out what trans my '99 Explorer has.....
It has the 4.0 SOHC motor and is 4x4.

Anyone know what it is or can anyone tell me how to figure it out?

That's what I thought I'm supposed to have the 5R55E, but I bought a filter for that trans at the auto parts store and it didn't fit so I took it back (with the one that came out of my Ex) and the one that matched mine was for the 4 speed trans according to the parts man. I'm guessing either he couldn't read the computer right or the info he had was wrong....
