What type of mods need to be done to fit 33" tires on stock

33x12.5 on factory 7 inch wheels.I just keep them aired down a little to wear evenly.Plan on aftermarket in the summer.

You said it! The TT and AAL will hurt the driveability of the truck more than anything else you can do to it!
In this case I agree the BL is a better option.

The whole point of a BL is to fit larger tires.
The same clearance can be achieved very easily without raising the COG, cut the fenders or put the $$$ towards fiberglass.

If you are serious about going off road (not mud) I am talking trails and rocks, then a BL is almost never a GOOD thing. A suspension lift is not always a good thing either, however a suspension lift that IMPROVES the geometry and travel of the suspension is a good thing.
Unfortunatley when looking t get more trasvel from the suspension lift is also required, both for larger tire clearance and also to gain up travel.

So the ultimate setup (as you can plainly see in evolution of rock buggies) is the lowest COG possible while getting massive amounts of suspension articulation (keep the wheels on the ground)

SO each rig is different, thats why I say it depends greatly on what you want to use the truck for in the end.

The problem is that there is not an IFS system out there that will do a dang thing for front end flex, therefore the BL is a more cost appropiate option considering the only thing you gain with a SL is a better breakover angle.
 






The TTB is a IFS.
I get LOTS of suspension travel.

I improved my break over angle big time with my suspension, mostly due to the short wheelbase and larger tires. But what I really gained was TRAVEL, the ability to keep the tires on the ground = traction to move forward. The only draw back ot a long travel TTB setup is the drastic camber change. + camber = rollover.
This can be battled by increasing the track width and also by moving the lower ball joint outward. The TTB setup also provides an EXCELLENT ride on and off road. Now I am not talking about the stock setup, I am talking about the proper springs and extended radius arms. MY truck rides like a flippin cadillac, but it didnt always, it took alot of trial and error to get here.

However it is all custom built, and of course I have the TTB

You are right saying there is not a kit out there for the IFS that can do what you want it to do, The RCD kit comes close but the stock CV axles have limitations. There are PLENTY of custom built long travel IFS suspensions that kick ass off road. The TTB is a good concept but it lacks in many area's.
A center mounted diff with A arms and long travel CV's has high clearance, tons of travel, and best of all, almost 0 camber change throughout the travel cycle. IFS can be applied to desert racing or rock crawling.

I believe IFS is the future of off road. Long travel A arm suspensions are really impressive with none of the drawbacks of a solid axle.
