I picked up these 17" wheels from Craigslist. Are they from a newer Explorer or Ranger? The ad said 2011 Explorer, but I can't find any stock pictures of them.

Ford Flex.

Awesome! Thanks guys. I was trying to figure out why the center bore was too small... that explains it.

negative. Ford does not offer 17" wheels on the Flex.....prolly Edge or Fusion.......

Yes they do. These wheels were used from 09+, they are still available standard only on the base Flex SE.

I enlarged the center bore on the backside of the wheel using the router method (rabbid bit). Worked like a champ! Very easy to handle.

MIght want to check your work out--are these wheels "hub centric" or " lug centric"? Explorer wheels are " hub centric" meaning the center hole is what keeps them centered.

If they are " hub centric" and you opened up the hole large enough to make them now " lug centric" you will have issues.

I will keep an eye on them. They seem to be fine so far. I have been rolling them for a couple weeks so far with no issues. I will hang on to the stockers for a while just in case. Thanks for all your help guys.
