I've always appreciated the utility of a winch. I've got a Warn mounted on a push-bar on the front of the HiLux. Been very handy over the years.

The front hitch mount takes that to a new level, as the winch could be used F or R (with appropriate rear hitch), and can even make moving trailers around a ton easier in the yard.

I wouldn't think that item would be readily available in a JY, though. I hardly ever see one on a road-worthy vehicle, much less a JY clunker.

Hey, n.gardner, I looked at the fitment chart thingy and it looks like it doesn't fit for the 02-05 4dr eplorers? i also typed in your year and trim package in the compatability finder and it says that "this part is not compatable with this vehicle". just dont want you to have a nasty birthday suprise.
