SEARCH the archives for LOTS of threads on all three of these brands. For the money, MAC is the best value. Volant and K&N are spendy. They all perform the same.

A LOT of people on this site would beg to differ (I've seen countless posts from members who have done it to their OHV).

FYI, Volant does have one. Not sure about MAC. I thought maybe you had SOHC (most Sports seemed to in 2000).

Is it worth getting a K&N Cold Air Intake for my 2004 Explorer 4.6L v8? Honestly? What are the negative things you heard about them , if any?
