hello all

i have a question on wheels
i have a 99 ford explorer sport with stock 16" wheels and im looking to put a 15 inch rims on
im looking at the cragar 397-series black soft 8 wheel
i like the look as well as the price
but unfortunatly i dont know much about wheels and would like to know the difference between the 15x7, 15x8 and the 15x10
i would like to know what im better off with or prefrences?

thanks
andrew

That is the width of the rim. You're fine with 15x8. I believe stock is 15x7, but I could be wrong.

Get the 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing. 7" is stock width. 8" is optimal for 10.50" - 12.50" wide tires, and 10" wide wheels are too wide for most anything. :D

...most anything :D
