I have a set of 32x11.5x15's for my Suburban on 15x7 wheels, and they seem ok. Tire manufacturers seem to prefer that the rim width be at least 65 % of tread width, so my 7 inch wide rims are a little bit narrow. Probably would be better with a 7.5 or wider rim.
FWIW, you can look up online (either at a site like tirerack or at the manufacturer's website) what the approved rim width is for the tire you're interested in.
thanks for the help cause im getting a set of race cuts from the off road races this weekend... and what i love about michigan the race cuts are as legal as any other tires
