I want to lower the front of my truck 3 " (take bolts all the way out then 2" blocks in the rear) but every shop wants to charge about 120$ for the alignment +kit installed which hurts. So how much of a drop can I go for before I will need a camber adjustment kit?

Not much if any. You will need them with anything more than about .5"

$120 sounds like a good price. A very good price.
To align it correctly you might not get that 3" drop. Just telling you now just so you won't get disappointed (like me) when they get done with the alignment. The most I could go with perfect alignment was 2 inches. You might get a little more since you have a Sport- I'm not sure.

Hows this sound

get 1 " blocks for the rear to drop it 1 ". Since its a sport, they are already dropped an inch so nows it going to b dropped a total of 2. Take the bolts out in the front til i get a drop of 2 inches then get new shocks, align, and camber and I should b good?

oh and how hard would it be to install shocks on the front and rear?

Just because it's a sport doesn't mean that's it sits lower than a 4door. In fact i tend to see the fronts on the sports sitting higher (usually on 4wd only).

Shocks are a piece of cake. Do it yourself...

know of any write ups on how to do it?

The torsion twist? If so just search for "torsion bar 101". That will tell you how. The shocks are self explanitory, just take off the old ones by unblolting them, and put the new ones on the exact same way...pretty easy. I did mine and i'm a retard...
