where are all the 90-92 rangers

To bad the one boomin posted is half way across the country.
That one is a 93. I figured you didn't want the newer body style. If you do, that would really increase the amount of trucks to consider.

I would consider the newer body style if the right truck came along. I really like the looks of the 89-92 rangers the most.

Might have just settle with an older truck. I like that first one you found Colin. Not sure if I can make it up to orange county to look at it this weekend. I found an 86 listed on the web I might go look at tommorow. If I get an older one for say 2k that is that much more I can put towards building it up. probably tommorow night I'll start tearing the 44 I have apart to see what kind of shape it is in and start making a list of parts I need for it. I can always get the older truck and do a motor swap but if I do that i'm going 5.0

1985 ranger = carbed 2.8 V6 = crap. I called on the 86. They are out of town for the weekend  Gotta love it put an ad out for a car for sale then take a trip out of town.

no luck yet. will be out of town for work off and on for atleast the next two months so looks like the search is on hold for a while again.

Look for one while your out of town and if you do find one, drive that pig home. :p

I will keep an eye out while on the road. Leave first thing in the morning and start driving to Boise Idaho From there I fly to minot North dakota on sunday to work for a week or so then back to Boise. Then depending on when I have to leave again for work I may head to SLC to go to the super crawl if i plan it just right. I will have my truck so I can pull something back if i find it.

Don't even look in North Dakota - anything you find will be a rust bucket.

Matt,

You were outta town at the time when I sold my Ranger to my mechanic (11/03). He bought it for $2,500.00 and it was in great shape. Oh well, there has to be a good deal on a Ranger just waiting for you. Just give it some time...

Just picked up a 92 4x4, 5spd today for $2800.00. Had only 88000 miles on it. The thing runs but I would like to tune it up a bit, change all of the fluids, etc. Since I am new to the Ranger scene, was wondering what if any problems these year rangers had. Hopefully will pick up a repair manual this week. Last but not least, the drivers door latch is pretty worn out (door does not really close all the way), is there any online stores that sell replacement latch assemblies & new door gaskets? In fact any online stores/shopping for the ranger would be great. Thanks.

need help with a 92 auto ranger 4 wheel drive dont work

dadeo and Rscotts1, you guys would get much better viewing and response if you each started a thread of your own. :)
